Hi Extra Pickles, any financial advice in advance for a student about to go into an ADN program and then get a BSN after that? (I live in California and will eventually need a BSN to practice nursing, so I'm told). I appreciate it, thanks!

Whether you were on the wait list and for how long? How long did it take you to get to this point? What inspires you to be a nurse? Congrats! How did they notify you - email/phone/mail etc?

I am #17 on the waitlist. My overall gpa is 3.79, prereq gpa is 3.81 I think... teas is 83.3% Not sure how many points I have. I was denied from Sac State with these numbers, I've they are the hardest Cal nursing school and Chico is close behind so your chances at those two places are probably slim... Have you been given a waitlist #?

Not sure if you're still around on this thread, but did you ever get in?? just got a letter for Spring 2016 as alternate #17

Thank you heypristine!! I called them this morning and they said the admissions director would call me when he was available, I also sent an email. Crossing my fingers it works out!

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted! :) I have a few questions for the people who got accepted, waitlisted, denied, or got into Spring 2016. For those of you accepted or waitlisted please specify which and post your stats (including possible experience), I know I'm not the only one eager to know what the winning numbers were! For those of you who said you got denied on other threads, did they send you an actual email? I have not heard anything from them so I have no idea what's up. For those who got into spring 2016, did you apply to fall 2015 and they just randomly put you in spring?? This thread is about the basic BSN program. Hope to hear from you guys! Thanks a lot! :)
