  1. 87 on the HESI and my GPA is kind of tricky. I have attended multiple colleges since my husband is active duty military, so I'm not sure how to calculate it. My most recent GPA coming from TCC is 4.0.
  2. Sorry to hear the news, ladies. I hope you get into your Plan B options. I got my letter today. It came from ODU and says I am accepted for the concurrent program. I'm very excited, but truly wanted to get into ODU's main program, which the letter doesn't address. Do you think acceptance into the concurrent program means I was declined for the other?
  3. Nothing yet!
  4. I definitely recommend completing your BSN before committing to the Navy lifestyle. It's been tough completing prerequisites and everything with all the moving we do. So I'm really hoping ODU is the school for me. It lines up so perfectly with my husband's retirement! I'm waiting on pins and needles over here for an acceptance letter! Has anyone heard anything yet?
  5. Thanks. I saw the start date, but I couldn't find information on how many semesters and whether they are consecutive through the summer like the ODU. I'm just trying to estimate a graduation date should I go that route because my husband is military and we're only here for so long.
  6. Does anyone know the start and completion date for the Riverside concurrent program? I read the ODU dates online but couldn't find that info for Riverside.
  7. I applied for ODU and when I hand-delivered my application, I was asked if I wanted to apply to the Riverside concurrent program as well. I agreed to do so since it gives me more options. But my number one choice is ODU, of course! I scored an 87 on the HESI and my GPA is kind of tricky. I have attended multiple colleges since my husband is active duty military, so I'm not sure how that works. Do they just consider the most recent GPA or do they take an average of them all? From most recent to least, I have a 4.0, 3.6, and 3.0. At least it shows steady improvement! I do not have any previous degrees or nursing experience. I am so anxious and really hope I get accepted! Good luck everyone!
