Hello all! I don't know if anyone is still on this page, but I am seeming to have a hard time finding current Umass Amherst ABSN students to talk to. I was hoping that some in the program could shed some insight on how it is going?! How are the classes?The coursework? Professors? Clinical's? I'm trying to gather as much information as I can about the program.

Hello All! I am interested in applying for Umass Amherst's accelerated bachelors degree program for the 2016 cycle. This program is my number one, and I am really hoping to get into it. I decided to start this thread to converse with others who are also looking to apply to the Umass ABSN 2016 cohort. I just attended an information session today. I know it is a little early but I am starting my application process for the January 15, 2016 deadline. I'm currently a student at Umass studying Nutrition and Dietetics and will be graduating this Spring! I decided to start this thread in hopes of creating a place where others who are also interested in the 2016 cycle can talk about the application process, GPA/Preq concerns, and basically offer support and answer questions!

I know some people who have been accepted to the program have already divulged their GPAs and stats, but I'm still curious as to what those are? What are the typical GPAs and prereq GPAs that have been accepted??

Hi all! I am also interested in applying for the Umass ABSN for the year 2016. My prerequisite grades are a 3.7, but I still have to take Human Development through the lifespan. My cumulative GPA is a 3.5 from the two colleges I have attended. Did anyone get in who had similar stats? I am graduating from Umass this spring with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
