  1. Hello. I'm enrolled in a pre-nursing program for an accelerated second degree nursing program. I have a bachelor's degree and starting in May, I'll be taking accelerated 8-week Bio and Chem classes (two classes each) to apply for nursing school for the Dec. 15 deadline. (I have to take the accelerated summer courses because the autumn courses don't finish in time for the deadline.) My question is: Should I leave my job for this? It's only a temporary job, and not salaried. Technically speaking, I don't "owe" my employers anything. It's just that I would prefer to have an income other than my partner's during the 16 weeks of pre-nursing classes, and working only a few shifts a week wouldn't be worth it; it's all or nothing in this case. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
