Ok Class of 2017, Where are you??
First semester was a whirlwind! But, I think I'm ending the semester with A's in both Pharm and Fundamentals! It all comes down to those freaking proctored ATI tests this week.....

Ok Class of 2017, Where are you??
Oh man, I wish we had anything available to us before orientation (on the 31st as well)! I keep checking our online platform, alas... nothing. We got some material that says the syllabus will be distributed at orientation. Wish I had at least a little to go on! Good luck!!!

Ok Class of 2017, Where are you??
T-minus 10 days for me! First day is orientation, second day ATI testing. I'm curious about the ATI testing throughout the program and how I'll do with it. I did fairly well on the TEAS so at least I know I can think like the testing likes. However, I've heard that ATI prepares you differently for the NCLEX, a little contradictory. We'll see how it goes! I'm ready to have my nose in the books for the next two years. Cheers to 2017!

Anatomy and physiology online?
Are you doing the BRAND program? I'm in WY as well and considered that before deciding on the Central Wyoming College ADN program in Riverton. I took my online anatomy and physiology through Casper College and thought they have been great. Let me know if you want the instructor's name!

Anatomy and physiology online?
I took my anatomy online last semester and now I'm in my physiology online this semester. Both of my classes had an online/simulation lab component. It's definitely hard, but I've managed A's so far. Check out Kahn Academy videos for extra help/support in learning some topics - I've found them extremely helpful!

What do you wish you would have known?
I've applied for an ADN program to begin this fall, and I'm very nervous about starting it! I graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2007, so it's been a while since I've been in full-time classes! I've been completing pre-reqs over the past 2 semesters and will have to complete a CNA course this summer (an entrance requirement for the program). I'm drastically changing careers (currently own a small retail business), and while I'm amazingly excited about it, I'm clearly nervous with the switch. So, my question to those who are already on their way to their degree — what do you wish you would have known before your first day of classes/clinical? If you could go back in time and tell yourself anything about the next few years in school what would it be? Is there anything that you wish you would have studied more, or prepped for more academically before starting?
