  1. This semester I am taking Chem 101, ethics, and developmental psych. Chemistry intimidates me and I am wondering if I should drop psych... I can apply to the RN program april 1st for the spring 2019 start but I must maintain a C or better in Chem for this to happen. My chemistry teach is hard and grades on a curve...if I drop I will spend my fall semester taking micro, physiology, developmental psych. Thoughts? Thanks!
  2. I have been accepted into an LPN program. Two semesters-would graduate spring of 18. Upon graduation I plan to work as an LPN while finishing my RN. If I choose to just keep chugging along and not do my LPN I could apply to the RN program June of 2018 for the spring of 2019 start and graduate spring of 20. My end goal is RN, but does it make sense to get my LPN first? Part of me likes this idea because I would make more money while finishing my RN. Any advice/input is appreciated!!b thank you!!!
  3. Thank you for all your responses! :) Being an RN is my ultimate goal but I really think that I may go the LPN route first. Financially it would be a smarter choice... Living as a one income family is getting more difficult esp since we just became a family of four!
  4. I am trying to decide If I should apply to the LPN program or start pre reqs for the RN program. The LPN program starts in September and is 2 semesters long at a local community college. My thoughts are I could get my LPN and work while going for my RN. The RN program will take 4 years to complete. I have all the requirements met to apply to the LPN program. Thoughts, Suggestions? This is such a hard decision! I am going back to school after being a stay at home mom for the last 5 years. At 28 years old I'm feeling very OLD, I know Im not but I just can't believe its taken me till the age of 28 to pursue my dream! :)
