  1. Hi Ebone! I got in on my second try. The first time I applied my pre-req GPA was about the same as yours and I still had a few classes in progress. I didn't study the right things and ended up with a 70 on the Kaplan with a 50 in science. The second time around (Same GPA) I got my AGEC-A/AA to improve my chances and I scored an 81 on the Kaplan with a 65 in science. When studying for the Kaplan do not waste your time on the Kaplan nursing entrance exam study guide. Study physiology for science, all of the systems. I bought A&P for Dummies to study and it was a life saver :) Math was pretty simplistic, I was terrified of the Math portion and it was almost my best category. Writing is the one that came out of left field for me so maybe brush up on that. I know exactly how you feel about never wanting anything so bad. I am set to start next month and still can't believe it is real. Keep a positive mind set and do your best!! Good Luck!!
  2. Thank you! I have private messages from each of you but the site will not allow me to respond as I haven't posted 15 topics :/ If you'd like you can email me? my email is my username @yahoo :) Sorry, trying to be cryptic lol
  3. Ah congratulations!!! See you at orientation
  4. I got in!!!!
  5. Oh great! I will be taking it on the 27th, I've heard it's not as bad as the Kaplan so that's good! Any NAU news? lol
  6. How did your HESI go btw?
  7. I'm so nervous too. Every time I think about it my stomach is in knots! I want it so bad and I can't really think about anything else... The wait will be agonizing. But you never know, there is still a chance they will send the letters out sooner. I think I will start frantically checking all things mail around the 7th
  8. I emailed "Joanna" and she said that she was meeting with the committee this week and that the letters would be sent out mid April :/
  9. Oh wow... that is even better!! My neighbors will think i'm less crazy. I'm assuming it will be middle of April then right or do you think it will be sooner?
  10. Will we receive it via email? I think it comes in the mail for NAU. I heard that if it's a manilla envelope then you are in or an alternate. I'm nervous! I will be checking the mail everyday starting in April lol
  11. I am so incredibly nervous! I cannot wait to know, whether I get in or not, not knowing is the worst!
  12. Oh that's good news! I've seen on here in the past Fall students not finding out until the first week of May. We won't have to suffer too long. I took the first Kaplan date offered and turned in my application a month ago so that just added to the wait! I got my AGEC/AA in December so I'm praying that will give me a few extra points. Are you applying to GCU also? I've had communication issues with them thus far and it has really turned me off :/
  13. You did fantastic, in my opinion you have nothing to worry about! Do you have your AGEC? I'm so anxious, I feel like this will be the longest wait of my life!
  14. I am also applying for Fall 15. How did your Kaplan go? I am crossing my fingers because I think I am on the lower side with a 3.6 GPA and an 81 on the kaplan (65 in science). I am so tempted to email the nursing advisor and ask what the average Kaplan score is this cycle but i'm not sure if that's appropriate lol.
