I love the program!! The instructors are amazing. You have the one set of instructors for first and fourth semester and then a second set for second and third semester. Everyone has been awesome and very helpful- they all want us to succeed and be great nurses! Right now we are in our Peds/OB rotations and it's my favorite semester so far :)

Sorry for the delayed reply! I still can't believe they dropped the interviews- lucky you í ½í¸‰ Your GPA and ACT score both are great, I think you will do just fine! When are they supposed to start notifying people?

Wow, that's good to know! Thanks! I have been watching to see if any summer spots open up in the patho class, I check every day but so far there hasn't been anything :/ Have you had your interview with CMH yet?

@skessl10 - would you mind giving me your opinion on something please? I still need to take patho which I was planning to do in the fall, but I'm wondering if it would be better for my workload to take it in the summer (either way it will have to be online). My concern with taking it over the summer is that it's SO MUCH information to fit into a 7 week course :/ Knowing what you know about the first semester of the program, do you think adding an extra class on top of everything would be crazy? I'm a good student and currently have an A in physiology so I know it will be manageable for me either way...but I also have three kids and would like to see them at some point over the next two years

That's great! Is this for a PRN position or are you wanting part time?

I have been trying to get on at CMH for months! I'm hoping once I have some experience and get through the 1st semester of school that maybe I'll have a better chance :) I am also interested in L&D, Mother/Baby, and Peds :) I work with babies and children now and I'd love to continue doing that.

Congrats on graduation! Were you able to decide on an area of nursing you want to pursue a career in? I'm so undecided at this point so it will be fun to see what happens in the next two years :)

I'm not currently working as a CNA, but I'm hoping to be soon! I have an interview at Olathe Med next week. I do plan to work while in the program; I am a professional photographer and also plan to continue doing that in my spare time- not ready to give that up yet :)

Thank you!!! I don't think you need an appointment for the drug test, just walk in during their regular hours (with your authorization form). :)

I was hoping there would be some 2016 RN students on here :) I got my letter Thursday and am so excited to start the program this fall!
