  1. CA NP certification and furnishing number questions

    Questions about CA NP Furnishing number - I am in a bind about the California NP Furnishing application and need it asap as I am moving back to CA and have a job lined up. I took my Advanced Pharmacology class in 2008 as part of the MSN FNP university program and have been working as a NP prescribing meds over 4 years in another state. I have my CA RN/NP license and DEA number registered with my current employer. Do I have to take Advanced Pharmacology over again since it's been over 5 years? Furnishing application says it should be taken at a college which means it may take an entire semester which may jeopardize my 'employability'. If I have to take it over again, doe you know if there is an online advanced pharmacology course that would satisfy requirements for the furnishing application? Thanks! any feedback is appreciated.
