  1. Kenyabanks, If I'm not mistaken, I think they are only going through 2, maybe 3 more rounds for interviews...that's what I was told on the phone.
  2. Hey AggieJ, I've seen other guys on the facebook page, or maybe I'm just looking at the wrong one. Thanks, I referred to that page. I also saw your previous post about trying to find a roommate.....Even if I do get accepted( which I REALLY hope I do), I will be commuting from the Pearland area. Hope you find someone bud!
  3. I just got an interview! I'm really excited. It's scheduled for next Wednesday! Any advice??? My stats for those who are still waiting: Cummulative GPA: 3.15 Science GPA: 3.75 Pre-requisites: 3.4 Teas V: 71%
  4. Hey helga567, The complete circle just means that they have received everything that they need from you (TEAS scores, transcript, supplement application, etc...) I called on Friday. The person I spoke to said they were finishing up summer admissions, and that they would start handing out acceptance letters and interviews for Fall staring mid-late Feb/early March, and that all admissions for this fall would be completed around late April/early May. Hope this helps! :)
  5. @spring 16. Thank you very much for all the helpful information! It makes me feel better knowing that I do have a chance of being considered (Although, nothing is written in stone lol) I'm still hoping for the best! :) Im just glad to hear that I can get in with just an associates and with all my credits being taken at a community college. Do you mind sharing your stats prior to getting accepted into the program? I appreciate all the good insight :)
  6. jasminpatel286, We practically have the same stats! Good luck to you too! :)
  7. Yeah m.noel12, I'm sure not the ENTIRE class have a 3.5 GPA and 85 or higher on the TEAS; I mean they must let SOME lower stats go through....... Or maybe I'm just trying to give myself some reassurance lol Anyhow, you're right. It all depends on the pool of applicants, and who they choose to interview. I mean an interview can get you chosen over someone with a 4.0 GPA and 98% TEAS from what I've heard and seen. I'm hoping for the best! :)
  8. @m.noel12 First, thanks for the info. It puts my mind a little as ease as far as the previous bachelors goes. The fact that me being a male helps is also kind of cool. I'm guessing because of some demographic they need to fill? Do you think I should retake the TEAS V. I got a composite overall of 71%. Yeah, I got the GPA's straight from NursingCas. If you don't mind my asking, what were your friends stats like? I'm sorry for all the questioning, I just want to get as much info as I possibly can. This is the ONLY school I'm applying to, and its the only school I want to go to! :) Thanks again for all the info.

  10. Hello all! Im new to the thread, and I just wanted to join the conversation, as I have a few questions of my own to ask everyone/anyone. First, my stats as given by NursingCas: Cummulative GPA: 3.15 Science GPA: 3.75 Pre-requisites: 3.4 Teas V: 71% (didn't study well and science was tough) Not the best stats, but I'm hopeful as Ive heard that UTMB looks at the whole person, and not just from an academic point of view. Plus, I think my personal statement is rockin and shows me for me :) So my questions: 1. Has anyone heard of people getting in without a previous bachelors degree 2. Do you think being a guy hurts my chances? Being that it's a female dominated profession 3. Should I retake the Teas V? 4. Do they take classes from junior college. 5. When will they start interviewing? i know it's quite a bit to ask, but I appreciate any/all help.
