  1. Hi guys, I am sitting my OSCE next Tuesday (2nd May) Just looking for any advice regarding the care plan. I have read in the candidate handbook that people have previously failed because they didn't include self-care elements. Also, in regards to BLS in Australia we follow DRSABCD, the hospital trust I am working with follows this also. However, in the UK resuscitation guidelines it is different - It states Safety, Response, Airway, BReathing, send for help, circulation. Again any advice would be great. Like everyone, I really would ideally like to pass first time round. Thank You, Goodluck to everyone Jenna
  2. Gisbonm88 this is for you! HI there I am 4 years post qualification and got the 2 year visa. I have 5 months remaining on my visa to finish this nursing registration. My honest advice is do not apply for your youth mobility scheme visa until you have approval to do the OSCE - only because you will use up too much time on your visa waiting. Instead you can come over do the OSCE and be essentially not too far away from being registered and still have the maximum amount of time on your visa remaining. Make sure you study so much for that test of competence I did the entire blueprint and read the entire royal marsden text book and I passed on the second time. I sat it the first time only a month after this new process started - basically one of the brand new guinea pigs. Hope that advice is ok! Goodluck!!!
  3. I am sitting the test for a second time on the 12th Feb, if there is any further information you could give me that would be more than fantastic!!! This test is what is going to send me crazy, haha. Email: [email protected] Thank you so much!
