I apologize if I came across extremely defensive. I'm really proud of your accomplishments. I too hope it all works out for me in the end. Just have to get passed the nerves

Humber College RPN Entrance Exam
It was a very misguided thread, and I will say that I did feel that I was being poorly demonstrated as someone who would plagiarize or ruin the integrity of the exam. Many people, like me, have come here paralyzed with fear - just looking for a little bit of guidance and support. Either way I'll have to write the exam in a week - and hopefully then I may be able to provide someone else with some guidance

Humber College RPN Entrance Exam
For real??? lol Then I guess I will now refer to it as HOAE too! Yes you helped a great deal thank you. I've also read every other thread possible on this topic and they all seem to say the same thing. Wish you the best of luck and if we make it in let's high 5 each other on the first day of class SEPT/2015!!!!!

Humber College RPN Entrance Exam
What I'm asking was clearly covered in my reply, seems like you flew right thru that part. I have not once asked for something that would compromise the integrity of The exam, but you wouldn't know that because you started persecuting me at first glance. I thought the premise of this site was to ask real people real question. If you don't want to add anything helpful to the thread and/or are conflicted by what's being asked I invite you to join other threads. I'm sure there are a lot more suited to you, elsewhere.

Humber College RPN Entrance Exam
That sounds extremely unlikely. The probability of the school knowing the actions I persue are practically impossible. The chances are even slimmer if the "said person" who wrote the pre admissions test (who shared information about the exam) was not successful in gaining admissions to school(s) themselves. Also, it is extremely easy for a school to change the contents of an exam. But just to clarify I have not asked for the exact content of the pre admission just a guideline on what to study (like what is covered during those 3 hours). If what I'm asking is a form of plagiarism then even the schools themselves should be penalized because they give you a guide on what to study, on their official schoold site.

Humber College RPN Entrance Exam
I've applied to other schools, but Humber is my first choice. I say that only because commuting for me is not an option -the closer the school the better. I hate when people refer to the Humber pre admissions test as HOAE, it's not the same. I spoke to many admissions coordinators at multiple schools and they all say Humber provides its own test. The scary thing is that Humbers admission requirements are solely based on how well you do on their pre admissions exam. You pass, you get it, you fail.... you dont get in! Simple enough. I know there is an essay portion, and they give everyone a different essay topic, then you have chemistry and biology (which I'm completely scared of) and a math portion. I'm not worried about the essay or math portions, those two categories don't require much studying. If you know how to write an essay I don't know what else you can study for? And same goes for the math, once you learn the basics you can apply it to any equation. I did hear that you have to use the metric system for converting eg.. L- to- mL etc... Learning about the cell and its functions, also knowing about ATP. Chemistry on the other hand is a complete mystery (sick to my stomach). I feel like giving up asking people the premise of the exam. Everyone gets tight lipped. How is guiding someone on what to study a felony. Once Im finished writing I wont mind answering these questions. But until tell good luck everyone!

Humber Pre Admissions Test
Hi guys!!! I'm preparing to write the entrance exam for RpN Humber Sept/2015 in about a week (Feb 7, 2015). Sadly the admission requirements for the program are based solely upon the results of the admission test, so they don't care how well you did in high school! I was wondering if there is anyone who wrote the pre admissions for Humber and got into the program. 1)Is the Humber test anything like the HOAE (I hear the HOAE is easy!) 2) If anyone can give me general information about the chemistry and biology portion. I'm not trying to dissolve the integrity of the test, and I'm not asking for, direct "word for word" questions, but just general routes and avenues to follow to write a successful test. For example. Bio you should study ATP, Cell, human anatomy etc.. Chem you should study acids and bases etc... Thanks guys!!!! Happy studying!

Humber College RPN Entrance Exam
Humbers admission requirements for the program are based solely upon the results of the admission test. They don't care what your marks where like in high school let alone if you took any science courses. Nonetheless I'm preparing to write the test in about a week and I was wondering how you did? Did you get into the RPN program? Also, I know you wrote the pre admission a while back but if you remember anything at all for chem & bio that would be greatly appreciated. Or maybe what to study for, thanks!

September 2015. Rpn humber college
The admission requirements for the program are based solely upon the results of the admission test. They don't care what your marks where like in high school. Nonetheless I'm preparing to write the test in about a week, for Sept 2015 and I was wondering if anyone has written the pre admission test . Did anyone already get accepted for the RPN program? Also, if anyone has already written the the pre admission test if you could give us a general idea of what to expect. Or maybe what to study, thanks!

Humber RPN Admission test - chemistry
TheSkyIsPurple was very thorough in his answer, but I'm afraid that Humber does not use the same HOAE test all the other colleges use. The admission requirements for the program are based solely upon the results of the admission test.. They don't care what your marks where like in high school. Nonetheless I'm preparing to write the test in about a week and I was wondering if the test was at all like what TheSkyIsPurple said, are there any similarities. Did you get into the RPN program? Also, I know you wrote the pre admission a while back but if you remember anything at all for chem & bio that would be greatly appreciated. Or maybe what to study for, thanks!
