  1. You'll be fine. It is hard. Night shift is where most all of us start out. Having kiddos adds to the stress. You'll develop you're own routine & adjust quicker than you think. If it's 12 hour shifts, hopefully you'll just have to do it 3 days a week! If it's your passion, you'll find a way. Good luck with all the future adjusrments & in your position!
  2. Hi! I have been an LPN since November of 2010 & have worked in long-term care ever since, I love my elders! I have gained a ton of experience and continue to learn new things every day. I know the struggle is real to get a nursing degree. Right now, I am also enrolled in my last semester of nursing school to obtain my ADN, I will graduate in May 2015. Good luck in your nursing education endeavors!
