Ok please keep me informed about any information you hear!!! I kind of hoped that since the stats were so high this time around that all these smart people had to have applied to multiple schools since they have such good GPAs and teas scores UTHSCSA can't be the only school they want idk maybe I'm over analyzing the situation but please let me know!!!

The part about the bringing the class sizes down to 110-115 I heard from someone who is already in the program and they heard from admissions that they were talking about that. Not sure if that's what they plan to do with this cycle but by the looks of it, it seems true. Why else would they only admit 125? They probably already have a projection of how many will decline which is why they only wait listed so few...I really hope we have a chance and Im sorry if I sound so negative I just don't want to get my hopes up high and then for them to be crushed again...but all we can do right now is pray!

Brandy said we won't hear anything back prior to April 20th but the way it seems is that a lot of people need to decline admissions before they even start pulling from wait list so I'm going to go ahead and say that wait listers are out already. I heard they want to keep the class at 110-115

Mine was the opposite I had 3.0 GPA but scored a 84.7 on teas

Yeah if people deny their admissions then Ill have my chance I'm 6/10 on the wait list but who in their right mind would turn down admissions

What do you all think? So Spring 2015 says 351 total applicants do you think that includes EVERYONE who applied even those who didn't qualify? And then they had 155 total offers and 133 enrollment do you suppose that some people decided to go elsewhere?

I think the attrition rate is about the same if not lower than that, that's the whole reason nursing schools use the teas v as part of the application process because it's suppose to lower the attrition rates it's supposedly to prove whether you are ready for nursing school or not but don't even worry about that we all want this I doubt we'll even think about giving up once we're in there and by the looks of it there's so much support for students from older classes!! I think you'll do just fine!!
