  1. Hello! Honestly, I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the zero information available for acceptable nursing programs outside Canada that I could transfer to Ontario so Im looking for people who have been in similar situations to help with advice/outcomes/results. I work as a LPN in NYS and have applied to work as an RPN in Ontario and the paperwork is still processing. I am also looking to obtain my BScN. In order to do this, I either 1) take FIVE years of college in Ontario to get the degree in Canada, or I 2) take the LPN to BScN online (U at Phoenix or something) and roll the dice if Ontario accepts it. So my biggest, main-est question is: Has anyone graduated from an accredited online BScN program in the USA and successfully was able to work in Canada? ANY details would be greatly appreciated!! I don't know if the online course is a complete waste of time
  2. I would say Mohawk because its probably cheaper.
  3. I went to a community college for one year and obtained a certificate for lpn, completed the nclex/pn boards and have over one year work experience. I am a Canadian citizen and have applied to have my license transferred to Ontario. Based on what I have in nys, I'm wondering what my chances are of being able to practice in Canada without having to go back to school? Any real life experiences? How was the application process? Thanks!!
