Hi, I'm just wondering How did you solve this problem? I'm going through the same problem you have. I am license in the state of Vermont and I'm trying to endorse my license here in Maryland but according to MBON, I am only qualified for an inactive license. Please help! Thank You

Thank you @nutella & @elkpark for your response. . . However, I can't consider CA to get a license because going back to school will cost me a lot of money. We are considering getting a license in other states because there might be a chance wich I can work in the veterans hospital or naval hospital since my husband is in the military.

I was enlightened with your advice. Yes, your right 7 years is a long time, but within that years I was working as an RN in our country not knowing that I was meant to stay for good here in U.S. I will consider your advice. Thank you for your response :)

@babymich_0922 is it hard to apply for WA BON? I'm from the Philippines too but still thinking what state will I go for my Nclex. How long is the processing time for WA and are you allowed to take the test many times once you failed? thank you!

I took Nclex-RN for Vermont last August '15 but unfortunately, I failed the test. I thought I was still eligible to retake the test, but they informed me that I am not qualified to retake the exam anymore for the reason that I am only allowed to take the exam once since I graduated in college (BSN) for almost 7years now. They only allowed no more than 5 years ago. I was so devastated that I have to do it all over again, spend more money again for the processing, but I have no choice. Now my problem is I don't know what state to apply for, for my Nclex-Rn. My husband is in the military so we only stay in 3-4 years where he got stationed and move to another state again but most probably we are going to stay for good in California when he retires. Is there anyone here who can help me: - to what state will I go for my application for registered nurse - can be endorsed to other state and can be accepted in California state?
