Hi all! I've worked in a long term care setting for the past 13 years. I work as an RN in a nursing home & I frequently see shadow people/ghosts. It's a big black shadow that darts across the hall or hovers over a patients bed. It's only seen for a few seconds & disappears as you do a double take. The patients don't necessarily die or anything after I (and other staff members) see these strange apparitions. Have any of you seen these things before?? What are they, exactly?? I've googled it, but just wanted other opinions from nurses who have seen the same thing! What do YOU think they are? Patients that have passed? Demons? Spirit guides? It's crazy!
