Thank you both for the replies. I do have a local school in mind, I was planning on getting my associates first then go for the BSN. The university that is closest to me said they do not accept prior nursing school students who had dropped out so hopefully they will accept me once I complete the program :)

Not sure where to start... I was previously in nursing school about 10 years ago, that is the last time I took any kind of nursing classes or science classes. I had to quit due to some issues in my life that was going on at the time. I am finally settled, my husband is out of the Army for disability, my kids are all grown and I really do not have a career to fall on and have always wanted to be a nurse. To make a long story short... I have taken Fundamentals of Nursing, Psych Nursing, all of the sciences (A&P, Micro, etc). Since it has been so long ago do you think I have a chance at being accepted into a nursing school? I received A's and B's in all of those classes I also receive financial aid and not sure if I have to take the classes over again if FA will cover it since I did pass with passing grades :/ I am looking over all of the books I can get my hands on to refresh on A&P and even nursing fundamentals. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated :)
