NCLEX preparation using UWorld
Hey everyone I need some help. I take my NCLEX in about 50 days and I am currently using UWorld to study. I usually generate a couple 20 question tests at a time, sometimes 75 questions a test and I randomize everything (since that’s how the NCLEX will be). The issue is nearly every exam I take, I average around in the 50% area and am worried if that’s good or not? Also, what’s the best way to utilize UWorld? I don’t take notes or make flash cards because that’s not really my style but I study the rationale of each question before I move on. Also, is randomizing everything good or is it more efficient to study by systems separately? I feel like random is better since it better reflects the NCLEX and if I did systems I would forget the information that I did early on? Please help me thank you

Nursing and being a youtuber
That’s how I see it. If my friend is a good nurse and doesn’t do anything bringing work into his prank channel, why would it matter? ya he’s doing for the most part non harmful pranks on his channel but why should that make a difference

Nursing and being a youtuber
I searched that and just found sources of nurses violating patients privacy or stuff related to bashing the place they work at. Nothing in terms of doing a hobby outside of work?

Nursing and being a youtuber
Can you send me an example similar to this situation

Nursing and being a youtuber
And also another piece of info to throw in this: many of his fellow coworkers have verbalized that they enjoyed watching his pranks and thought they were funny. He’s just curious as to what the managers / hospitals can LEGALLY do if they find out about it

Nursing and being a youtuber
Asking a question for my friend. My friend is a Youtube prankster (primarily makes non harmful pranks in the public) sometimes pranks where there are harsh reactions but nothing too crazy. He’s also just becoming a nurse. My question is: if the hospital was to find out about his prank channel, can they fire him for it? I’ve always been curious about this question myself because I would assume they can’t just fire you over something you do OUTSIDE of work that does not affect your actual job at all? Can someone give me quality information about the answer to this question? Thank you

Start as nurse or new career opportunity?
OK so I’m gonna word my last post a little better. I finish nursing school in 2 months but I also have the opportunity to work as a mortgage banker with some of my friends who already do that. My friends make 100% commission and I have one that even makes around 20-30k a month (he’s good at his job.) my question is: after I finish nursing school, what do I do? Am I allowed to pass my NCLEX and start this job if I choose to and come back in the future if I ever want to do nursing again? Some people tell me to do nursing for a little after I graduate then try it out but either way, by the time I come back to nursing again, I would forget all those skills so wouldn’t it be better to give this mortgage job a try before? I need a nurse to explain to me . Just the question I asked. Thank you

HELP be a nurse or another career opportunity?
So I finish nursing school in about 2 months with my associates degree. I am confused on what I should do. A better career opportunity has arose where I can make a lot of money monthly via commission. I have friends who make $30-40k a month in this career choice and I am conflicted. Should I take my NCLEX and give this new career a shot? Or should I become a nurse for a couple months and try it in the future? PLZ HELP

ADN first or straight to BSN?
Bump? Can anyone help ?

ADN first or straight to BSN?
I am a 20 year old student and am clueless on what to pursue first. I can either apply for my ADN at a community college in 2018 or go straight for the BSN at a university. With the ADN, I could work as a nurse while doing online courses to achieve a BSN while the hospital would pay for most of the tuition for the courses, or I could go straight for the BSN and work without having to worry about taking courses to get a BSN but I would be in debt. It is said that 85% of students graduate debt free from the ADN program at the community college. I just need some insight on what to do since you all would know more about this than I do. My end goal is to eventually become a nurse practitioner but I am not 100% sure on that yet. So my questions are... should I get the ADN first or go straight for the BSN? Is it really stressful for the nurses who work and take online BSN courses? And if worse case scenario, would a University look down on my pre reqs for the nursing program if I was to take them all at a community college versus a university?

Should I pursue a career as an RN? Help
I am currently a senior and I have been stressing out lately on what I want to do in the future. Some choices I have are becoming an RN, PA, or a PT but I have no clue on what I want to do. My brother is working to become an RN and he says he hates it. But me as a person, I'm not passionate about anything and I feel like work is work, and I really don't think there are many people who actually enjoy their jobs. I am taking a Highschool course where I learn about medical terms and many other things including CPR and things along that line. Also, people tell me how if you don't like your career, you can always go back to school, but I want to make sure what ever I get into, I will enjoy it until retirement. But some questions I want to ask for help on: do you like being an RN? Do you like working 3 days on and 4 days off? Are you happy or miserable with your life? As an RN, is it easy to provide for you and your family? Do you have good benefits? Would you have went for a different career if you had the chance? Please if you guys can give me as much information as possible and share your experiences, I would greatly appreciate it!
