  1. I wish I would have. My BF and I decided while I go to school he will work and vice versa when I am done so we can both have a great education. I hate having to ask for money but I guess I am going to have to break down and do it so I can get it all done bc if I sont by the 23rd I cant start clinicals. Thank you for you input, it is greatly appreciated.
  2. Aside from my Need Based Scholarship I have to pay for all my books and the remainder of my classes out of pocket, which was $1,100 this semester but now I have ran into an issue of having to pay for my scrubs, background check, drug trst, shoes, watch and misc. Things they need for us to gather for clinical. I am completely tapped out of money and I am supposed to have this all played for by next Friday. I am thankful I made it into classes but it seems I have hit a wall solely on a few $100's worth of extras. I felt so good starting but now the stress is already weighing on me, but let me say, this isn't my first time in Nursing School. I am a returning student from 4 years ago so I knew these things were needed but prices have just went up. No idea what to do. My family has helped so much but they don't have the money either. Guess I just needed to vent.
  3. I am a die hard Nike fan so that is what I always go to. I never have trouble with them falling apart. But I can't sway you away from the others everyone is talking about because I have never worn them. If you do go with Nike I would stay away from Shocks, good for the back but hard on your feet all day. Nike airs are good or any type of running shoe, just be very choosy because in all white they do not run cheap no matter where you go. Best of luck to you all. Sadly I missed my first week of classes due to bronchitis and the flu but I am all caught up now and ready to go. :)
