  1. Thank you so much for your reply. I'm more interested in the traditional bsn route than the ADN/ASN..... Are you doing a traditional bsn (2 years of prereqs then transferring?) What schools are you going to apply to after?

  3. Hey guys, I'm new to this and all. But I'm 17 and a senior in High School and already know that I want to be a Nurse Practitioner or CRNA. I did 100 hours of volunteering at the Florida Hospital last summer and realized how much I want to pursue nursing. I've been doing so much research on nursing and the different programs nursing has, but I am more driven to do a traditional 4 year BSN program. I know nursing is HIGHLY competitive!!! My plan after high school is to attend a community college getting my A.A (Valencia or Seminole State) to take my perquisites and to save money. I will then be transferring to a university, hoping I get into UCF Nursing program to receive my bachelors (Orlando area) Here are my questions: -I want to know what type of classes will I be taking my first 2 years during my preqs & will it be hard like nursing school? -What is the difference between prereq gpa, science gap & cumulative gpa? -What things can I do to help build my application when I'm ready to apply such as, volunteer hours, cna courses? Like what are things I can do other than having good grades? -How long did you guys have to wait to get accepted after your 2 years of prereqs? -Any ucf experiences? -Any extra advice? Please & thanks!
