PRN back to Full Time?
Hello, I’m trying to get some input on a decision I’m struggling with. My wife and I have decided to start trying for a baby. My question revolves around time/pay. I am currently in a PRN position that has me still scheduled 6 days/pay period but the pay is about $11/hr higher than full time pay. I get no benefits or time off etc. I am deciding if I should switch back to full time and take the pay cut but regain full benefits including 18hrs PTO/mo. This switch would also grant me 12wks of paternity leave to help out with the baby when it does come around. My wife’s job would req her to pay an extra $900/mo to add a child to her insurance, my job for full time would be $280 total for all 3 of us. (She is a teacher and surprise their benefits are even worse than the salary) Basically, is it worth it to take a pay cut but regain benefits in light of a child coming about in the near future. I know I have plenty of time to decide I just want to see if there was anybody else who had a similar situation.

FSCJ Nursing - Spring 2016
There is no more "lecture" you read everything the weekend beforehand and then in class you ask questions on what you read and practice skills/collaborative learning exercises

There's not much to say it is concept based learning, reverse classroom, all tests are cumulative from the whole program so term 3 could potentially question you on term 1 material

Expect a lot of reading and be able to roll with the punches

I got a 92 and only went over conversions which all the math is very basic. The AP and Bio are filled with cell structure/functions/terms.

Nights has majority of classes at Deerwood while days has the majority of classes at North. Also, if they keep the nights clinical schedules the same as before, nights have clinicals on Saturday & Sunday from 7a-7p

I'm waiting on my Micro grade to go into the system, professor said the deadline for her to submit was today at 2pm and it will update immediately, nothing yet and it's 330pm. Was really hoping to update my transcript today so I don't have to drive there 30min before the campus closes tomorrow.

Absolutely still apply, you never know what can happen. Nobody expected the cutoff last semester to be 160, who's to say it won't happen again? Be confident

There are 2 payments to make. 1 of them has to be paid with a card the other can be paid with cash, other than that you don't need anything but your ID like you said.

FSCJ Nursing - Spring 2016
This could easily be a personal thing. I don't know what to do with my days off during this semester, I have no classes throughout all of Fall. Today is my first day of not having to study and I can't figure out what to do. I've cleaned the entire house, I've made dinner for the next week, etc. Does anybody have any suggestions of what to do or what I can study before nursing program starts?

The nursing office is the floor above the art gallery on the far side of campus (away from student success area)

I would take Micro with A&P 1 if you're going to combine them, A&P 1 was a lot of memorization while Micro is a lot of connecting the dots more than anything. Those 2 learning styles shouldn't conflict with each other too much.
