  1. I suppose you are correct considering.....I passed what a relief. You're right it is such a different kind of test that it is difficult to leave feeling confident.
  2. Well my username is not working on the Quick results website and I have to call the Pearson office to get it-they aren't open till tommorrow. I tried to call the quick results phone line but my cell phone does not allow 900#'s.UHHH-I'm going crazy. I have to call my friends to have them call. This is sooooo stressful.
  3. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! My stomach is in knots, I am going to call here shortly to find out.
  4. Oh, well hopefully I chose the right answers. Nothing I can do about it now. I will make sure to tell others who need to take it-what to study and keep in mind as far as the prioritizing questions. It will also be helpful for when I get to take the NCLEX RN (or if I need to take this one over)- I can't wait
  5. I am not sure but I got a few of those too. I hear so many different things it's hard to tell. I wish the whole "grading" process was explained a little better. It sure would help some of the stress!!!!
  6. I wish I had studied from Kaplans also. I just used Saunders, which was good, however, I don't recall any questions like that. The ABC's would have helped narrow down the choices. Now I wish I could remember what answers I chose. Another question- Would you see someone who is having pain first or no (if the other weren't related to ABC"S). Our teachers always stressed this to us.
  7. I took the [EVIL]NCLEX PN[/EVIL] yesterday and walked out in disbelief. For some reason I did not think it was going to be that hard. Silly me. When looking at the questions I thought to myself "I never even learned about this." I had a hard time with the "who you should you see first questions-which I had a lot of. I felt like I guessed on the majority of them. I took it with my friend yesterday and she felt the same way. I know it is not supposed to matter but I was finished at 85 questions and so was she. Anyways, my question is what did people here have the hardest time with on the test and did you feel like you did a lot of guessing? I should be able to find out on Sunday. I just keep thinking about how embarrassed I would be to tell my work I failed (I'm working with my temp license now):imbar . I just can't wait to find out. I am due to have a baby in October and would like to enjoy the rest of the pregnancy w/o worries. Who knows, if I find out I pass I may just have it right then and there because I will be so excited and relieved.
  8. My school has a good policy also. We only have one math test and we have to get 100% also but we can retake it as many times as we need in order to pass it. Thank goodness!! I don't agree with that policy to get kicked out. This is new types of math problems to us, of course we might get one wrong. Does your teacher actually teach the you the math problems? We just receive the math book and teach ourselves. When we have completed our chapters the teacher just marks off that we did it. Of course if we need help she will help us.
  9. I know that where I used to work, The CNA's had to do all the cares and linen changes. We also did CNA care plans, vitals on all pt., and recording intake and output, and set of admissions. The CNA's usually had between a 7-10 pt load. We were very busy. It was the nurses responsibility to pass meds and assess the pts. They were also very busy. However, if they(let say the majority) saw that we were behind, they would lend a hand. We were, however, supposed t ask another CNA for help first. We did always come across a nurse that was not willing to help, even for a simple boost up in bed or turn (granted I asked the nurse when they weren't busy). Anywhere you work you are going to run into that. According to one of my classes, however, our teacher says that the nurses do all the baths in hospitals. That has not been my experience. I guess it all depends on where you work and their policies and staffing. All in all, I belive everyone should work as a team to get things done. I know how frustrating it is when people aren't willing to help.
