  1. Misdemeanor assault 13 yrs ago trying to get a job

    GHOSTBOXING posted a topic in Florida Nursing
    I am a new graduated nurse who has experience as a paramedic. I actually acquired a job in the ER at westside regional in broward and they offered me a $8,000 sign on bonus. After my background check They rescinded the offer because of a 13 yr old misdemeanor assault charge. I had disclosed it on my background check but they said no go. Does anyone know if this is going to be an ongoing problem or if this is just from this particular hospital?
