Does anyone know the address of where to send an outside scholarship award to the school?

Where did you see our textbooks? I would like to get them before our first day but if there are 11 I wonder if we will need all of them.. 11?!!

Do we need a stethoscope? And what kind of shoes do we need, just as long as they're all white?

In order to enroll for classes you have to complete transfer orientation- but it says virtual and advising. Anyone know how I lift the advising hold too? I already did virtual. I have to also submit my meningitis vaccine form to get that hold lifted. Always something to do!

Anyone else transferring to FIU and has bright futures? How do I let my old school know I want FIU to use my bright futures and not the old school?

Since they said we had till the 1st to finish complio I'm guessing they'll email us the first week of august

I emailed them yesterday if I can have an extension for CPR and TB and she said as long as it's updated by august 1st I should be good.

Has anyone received a gold and blue scholarship and then they said that it doesn't count because you are a transfer student to FIU? I was awarded one and now they said that it doesn't count because it was wrongfully awarded to me.

I'm very confused about the tiders and immunization. So first you need to get immunized for everything. Then you need your doctor to fill out a sheet saying that you're immunized for that specifically? And then you need to get bloodwork done and where would we upload that?

The building is easily found next to the other health buildings and it says nursing on the building very big! They have a lot of signs. I don't know where to park though.

In the email I received when I first got accepted said to meet all the requirements to be cleared through the American data base. I don't know if that also includes the forms and stuff. But I am going to wait till orientation

Yeah a lot of documents like health insurance and immunizations. I'm assuming we have to pay for the drug test and fingerprints ourselves seperately?

They're no help at all! I email and call them and they're not very urgent in responding.

Do we all have the same orientation? I have to request off work but I haven't releived the date for it yet with the email.

Yes Miami is incredibly expensive. I'm going to look around the area, but the student apartments close to campus are convenient but I don't know if they're worth $840

NOOOOO i was accepted Monday but on Tuesday I got another email saying if I didn't confirm my spot by that night it would go to someone else.. I already sent an email just now accepting it but I hope it's not too late. I left a message on his voicemail. I will call Tuesday at 8 am to see if there's still a spot open or not. I'm so worried.

I'm not an FIU student. I will give him another call Monday because I think I put down I had a FIU email on the application because I didn't know that I did not have one lol

Thanks for the info!! Still hoping for at least a waitlist email. I got a call on Monday from a FIU nursing phone number, but they left no message. I called back and left a message but never got a phone call back. Wondering what that could have been about.
