Hello, Did anyone receive their student ID number yet? & How do you access your uw email? Also, did anyone proceed with making a facebook group page?

Hey I think its better to make a FB group instead of a page? I think that'll be better in terms of making a closed group and getting notified with certain info/help/etc

Yeah, same here! I went ahead and created my netID. For out-of-state people (or in-state people too), have you guys tried using the off-campus housing website by UW? I'm not quite sure how to use that website. & ZrowGz I think it's safe for you to make one since no one has yet :)

Regarding the student IDs, I spoke with the advisor on the phone and they told me that they start sending out all of the login information mid-March. So anyone coming as an out-of-state student can look at the off-campus housing site that UW has with the student netID around that time.

Will anyone be attending UW as an out-of-state student from Cali? I was wondering how you guys will go on about moving, finding apartments and such.

I don't think so. I've been emailing with one of the advisors and they told me that they send in the list of accepted ABSN students. Pretty much, you won't get denied to UW as a postbac student. Cheers!

Hello, born2bns I finished everything except for my statement of purpose... I'm still working on it haha & I'm planning on sending it out soon. I recently got an email from UCLA that they'll send out admission letters April-May which is a little bit late compared to UW

Hello, I just joined allnurses.com and read through this thread. I'm from SoCal and I received my acceptance letter to UW. I only applied to UW ABSN and UCLA's MECN program and thank God I got into one of them. I got my BA in Chemistry at UC Riverside and I decided to go into the nursing field not too long ago. I'm pretty sure I'll be moving up to Seattle to start the ABSN program. Any advice on getting a place for the duration of the ABSN program? Also, my mom is telling me to change my residency from Cali to Washington so I can get in-state financial support but I personally don't want to just because its a hassle to change legal forms and whatnot. Any advice on this as well? & congrats to all who got into the ABSN program! & for all who got waitlisted/rejected, stay hopeful wherever life takes you! :-)
