That's great! Any news on the difficulty of the exams or study tips? I'm still a little unsure of what to expect.

Did it take a while to hear from the CTN rep who deals with NMC information after your IELTS? I've been waiting a few weeks now to hear what my next steps are.

That sounds great! We should definitely meet. New friends are always fun! I'm ready to organize my nursing theory test now. How was that test compared to NCLEX?

Great! Will you be taking contracts in London? Thats where I'm wanting to be. I'm from Nashville, TN. I'm about 2 years out of my BSN and I'm just looking for a big adventure! I should be ready to head to the UK in June or July. How are you feeling about the housing, and have they given you a rough estimate of what pay will be? I'm hoping to get in contact with some of the fellow CTNs in London so I'll have some girls to meet and pal around with! Are you planning on doing a lot of traveling? Good luck with all of your planning and the big move. Feb is just around the corner! :)

Hi Dana, I am in the process too! About to take the English exam next week. Did your recruiter mention to you that they have changed the requirements and the month long course prior to working is no longer needed? Did yours tell you any other good info? These negative posts are making me nervous, but overall things I can live with. I'm going for the experience after all! My recruiter also told me they would help pay for my licensing fees for an agreement of 3 contacts, or 9 months. Are you doing 9 months or trying to do a shorter time? Hope your process is going well! Whitney

Continental Travel Nurse anyone?
Hello all, I'm curious if anyone has recently gone through the process with Continental Travel Nurses out of London and taken contracts with them in the UK? I've been in contact with them and have started the process myself. I was hoping to hear some input about the company and their legitimacy. (My dad was concerned this was a company out to get young, naive girls.) So in addition to calming my dad's nerves, I was hoping to hear some tips, recommendations, etc from some nurses who have experienced CTN and the UK. Any information is welcome! Thank you and happy nursing! Whitney, RN
