  1. Then you would know all about DODMERB and EXACTLY how everything works right? Anyone is able to sign up and begin taking coorifice work for ROTC. Being awarded a commanders scholarship after the first semester would warrant a review of your PMH in order for you to continue with the scholarship to work towards commission. Spending a year trying to have it reviewed again would make me pretty well aware of the situation I was in and how the review board worked on my case.
  2. Was given an ROTC scholarship but then was dc'd after review of PMH. That's how I was at a big institution.
  3. So do you have a suggestion or are you just going to keep criticizing me about how somehow I shouldn't have the bills I do?
  4. Honestly it's not that complicated. Parents couldn't afford school for me, I wanted a good education which I got but now am paying for it, literally.
  5. It's called out of state private school
  6. Having been admitted to one of the most expensive hospitals in the nation because of the location of my assignment and the coverage of my insurance. It didn't exactly cover 100% of my stay as most coverage doesn't. Follow up appts and medication does build up.
  7. I did receive a housing stipend, used it. Like I said, I accrued thousands of dollars in medical bills while traveling so that put a hold on money for my loans. I'm currently paying 2000 dollars a month for medical bills. Student loan payments are about 1400 a month. I only have three years experience as a nurse so I am not making the highest amount.
  8. I have also been trying to pay off medical bills which accrued while I was traveling. I don't make enough money to pay thousands of dollars a month in loans with interest rates as high as 10%. I also need a place to stay and food. I just got rid of my car to lower by car payment. I work the weekend program to make the max amount of money and do not go out. As far as I'm concerned I am not being completely financially irresponsible. I would like a job that I work hard for that actually allows me to pay off my loans.
  9. I have been working as a nurse for three years now. I tried traveling and now am back to staff. I have worked in emergency and now ICU. I have approximately 115k in student loans with extremely high interest rates. I am not making a dent and am looking for loan repayment options for nurses or international nursing that pays a lot. I am just simply unable to make these payments and the loans are too much for banks to want to consolidate. Please help with ideas and suggestions! I would appreciate it!
