I am very grateful that you took the time and wrote what you did from the heart. I understand all that you are saying and especially being in HIS will. I will take your advice and seek The Lord in this matter. I would like to say that I never ever was going to move there without money saved or having a job. I just wanted some input on what California job and housing market was like. I have been homeless before many years ago and never ever want to go through that again in life. Here in Michigan or anywhere else for that matter. And just to say the main reason why I'm seeking to relocate to Cali because my church is there. I've been wanting to move for years so I could be in regular fellowship instead of going once a year and watching on the internet. Just recently things have started to move in my favor where I am in the position to move. I know that may be good in itself and even sounds like that the right reason to move. But I agree everything much be done in order and under HIS direction. Praying!!

Like I said thanks for all the earthly advice. But my FAITH is not build-up on earthly wisdom. But on the POWER of God Who can do anything but fail. He is in the miracle business and there is success stories and by the Grace of God I will be one of them. In Jesus name. Im sorry that there so much negativity on the site.

Yes, I have been to Los Angeles several times visiting friends and on vacation. Just so my girls could see the beauty of it and to see if they would like it. They love it too! I have family members who lives in Northern CA and my sister and I is planning on moving to Southern California. I know that life is a chance. I just have to try, at least I can say I tried. Thanks for your input I will take all things into consideration. Blessings!

Do anyone know of any Behavioral Health Facilities that hires LVN there in CA? I currently works in a residential facilities with adolescents with mental health issues.

It took about one month before they looked at my application and then what seen like forever about two months for my fingerprinting to clear with the FBI.

I have all my perquisites since I was previous in a LPN to RN bridge program here in Michigan. However I didn't finish due to personal reasons. My perquisites are over 5 yrs. old. Will a bridge program in CA accept them this old?

Thank you all for your input on the nursing jobs as well as the housing market of LA. I have heard this before but not about the nursing jobs for LVN. I am a little disappointed, for my girls and I have high hopes for moving to LA. A warmer climate and a fresh start from here in Michigan. Especially my 11th grader who have plans to try and get into UCLA. Someone had mention to me before about the Inland Empire where the rental property is cheaper. Is it easier to find a LVN job there? Hello California Nurses, Im moving to California this spring from Michigan. I just received my approval for endorsement letter from the BVNPT, just a few days ago and I am very excited! God's grace is sufficient! I would like to know is there a LVN to RN program that i can get into without a long waiting list. I am planning to move to the South Los Angeles area. Is there any good LVN jobs in this area and what is the pay like for California's LVN. I know that the cost of living in Cali is much higher than Detroit's. Will I be able to make it as a single mother of 2 teenagers and renting on a LVN income, at least until I can go back to school? Please help! Grace4life
