I've learned... 1. I need to stop being a lurker here and start posting. I've seen some amazing advice and guidance throughout this past year. 2. The internet is a strange place with some of the threads I've seen (especially today for whatever reason). On the contrary though, it is a great place. 3. I am not ready to start school back up again after this break. 4. I really need to get to bed sooner. I can already envision tomorrow's under eye circles.

You brought up an extremely good point. I didn't even think about considering what unit I end up working in. I will definitely hold off on spending a lot of money until I know what stethoscope I would really need. Thank you!!

I really considered getting the cardio III but I decided against it because I hear they tend to disappear pretty often. I am just taking some extra precautions in nursing school and once I *crosses fingers* become an RN I will upgrade to the better stethoscope. Thank you for the feedback!

I did the exact same thing. At the last minute I ended up buying the classic III on amazon. Good luck with everything!

That is what I have heard Littmann is a huge favorite in the healthcare field. I am going to buy myself the cardiology iii as a graduation present to myself when I am all finished. Thanks!

Hello everyone! I just got accepted into a nursing program and I am on the hunt for a stethoscope. Whilst researching the Classic II S.E I found out that Littman also has a Classic III. I am under the impression that this is a fairly new product because I cannot find any reviews or information on it. Has anyone heard of the Classic III or have any experience with it? Thanks for all the help!
