Hey y'all. I figured I would create this thread so that the current applicants for the RN residency at Children's Dallas for July 2015 could converse, share any updates, and we could all wait together. Feel free to comment. Good luck everyone.

I have no idea. Good question. The job was contingent using graduation and passing so maybe they will let the person who doesn't pass go?

That amount is correct! And yes the residency is 1 year, and then you are required to work 1 year after the completion of the residency. So yes it is essentially 2 years. If u leave before the contract is up, U are required to pay the hospital a pror...

It's about the same as other places. Once the year residency is complete you get a sizable hourly increase. The first two years have a set pay progression, and then every year after that it is a merit based salary increase

Check out indeed.com for other companies but methodist isn't posting new internships. Most Have already been posted and taken down

I heard they had plans to interview sometime through the month of March but we are already half way through. I'm thinking people will start to hear something this week.

@abobbett after you replied with your preferred day to interview, did you receive a response back?

Pretty much all the internships are paid.

To my understanding the inactive status just means that the posting is no longer available to apply for.
