  1. How do you organize your Med pass to ensure your patients recieve the correct meds at the correct TIME? I just got hired on at a LTC facilty :) (my 1st job as a LPN) and will have 44 patients to adminster meds to...... Any suggestions or ideas on how to organize my work day.......... Thank you!!! Amy :)
  2. I just found out I passed with 85 questions.... the wait was absolute torture .... I was sure I did not pass. I know exactly how you feel. The questions I had were not at all what I studied for, there were alot of specific diseases that we barely skimmed over in school so I left that place in utter panic... I'm sure you did fine.... Don't doubt yourself!!!! GOOD LUCK!!! Is Illinois a quick result state? If so your results will be available through pearson vue 48 after you finished the test. I know it says 2 business days on the paper they mail you but it's just 48 hours. I wish you the best!!!!! P.S. Word of advice... Don't try any look up questions you had to see if you got them right ..... just makes the wait worse!!
  3. I just checked the pearson vue website and I PASSED! I think I am still in shock! I can't believe it! Thanks to everyone for all your support!!!!!!!! AMY :balloons:
  4. Thank you!!! Umm....... It took about a week and a half after all my paper work was in.... But then it took like two weeks to get an appointment in my area!
  5. I am a little confussed on this... Is Guillian Barre caused by a virus? and what are the first symptoms? My text book says that it is caused by a GI/Resp infection but does not specify a viral infection and says the first symptoms are weakness in the lower extremitys ****Several sites on the internet say it is directly related to a viral infection and others say the first symptoms are tingling in the hands. I know it sounds silly that I would be stressing over such small detail but.......... I'm desprate to know whether Guillain Barre follows a viral infection or if the first symptoms are tingling in the hands! THANKS to anyone who has any insight on this!! Amy
  6. Well....... I just got home from taking boards. It was alot different than I expected! My computer shut off at 85. So I either did really good or really bad. Im keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks for all your support, it's helped alot! Amy
  7. I'll have to try that! Thank you for your reply. I know I need to stop studying and have confidence Wish Me luck!
  8. Hey guys! I am new to this forum. I have found it to be very imformative and helpful. So I thought I would ask you guys for some advice! I am scheduled to take boards Thursday 8/25/05. I have suddenly become SO nervous, I feel like I have forgotten EVERYTHING I learned in school. Anyways I have read several post that say priority questions are the majority of the questions on the NCLEX. Any Tips to answering these kind of questions? I know to remember the ABC's and Saftey is always number 1, any other general guidelines besides those? Thank you guys! Amy
