Hi nurses and future nurses! I am taking my NCLEX-PN in 2 and a half days and I am freaking out. I am seriously considering rescheduling my NCLEX to a later date, and here's why... I haven't been able to study as much as I wish during this past week due to surgery last week. (Yeah, dumb to schedule both events close to each other... I thought I would be fine, explanation later...) My Saunders and NCLEX 3000 scores keep getting lower and lower (87%, 78%, 76%, 69%, 63%). I don't know if this is just typical anxiety before the NCLEX, but I am seriously freaking out, and that's probably why I keep scoring lower and lower... these late night's of freaking out and trying to test probably don't help. Here's my background as a student (and why I assumed I would be okay): 4.0 GPA Passed my HESI with the highest score in my cohort - above 900 gives a 95% chance of passing NCLEX first try, got 979. Everybody that I have talked to (instructors, students, friends, family) is positive that I would pass on my first attempt. A friend of mine took it and passed last week (yay!!!) and she said that it was easy, and she knows my abilities and if it was easy for her, it would for sure be easy for me. What should I do? I have until Monday at 12PM to reschedule. Any advice for passing my NCLEX? I have been reading through the other threads, and that gives me more anxiety... but writing this is at least a little therapeutic (no longer in full panic attack mode.) What should I focus my studying on? Should I reschedule?! Tell me about your NCLEX experiences. I will reply with my NCLEX experience after I take it so that, hopefully, I can help anybody else my situation for future NCLEX takers.
