I agree with shasbus, with my insurance I don't have to pay for any of my shots, and the titters I just have to pay the copay to see my doctor. So if you have insurance try using it!

Also I've heard there is a clinic in Alvin called the Stephen F Austin Clinic, that does shots relatively cheap. I'm not exactly sure how much but if interested I'd definitely say call them and inquire about the costs. Oh and if anyone is planning on commuting from the southeast Houston area let me know!

Yea those events are for the fall class, we won't have as much going on for us because of the timing!

Has a Facebook page been made for our class yet? I know the fall group has one, so just wondering if anyone knew if we did?

You also have to keep in mind those of us that we're waitlisted for fall and accepted for spring, because that takes away from the total of 120 or 140 what ever they decide.

@lowro I agree with apl00, and was told we wouldn't have to interview again. As soon as it is definite that they are not going to pull us off the waitlist for Fall 2015, they will send us our acceptance letter for Spring 2016.

The program is 16 months long, which is 4 semesters, for us it would be spring, summer, fall, then spring again graduating in May. From what I was told we get a week in between each semester.

Congrats to everyone that has been admitted! And to those still waiting try not to focus on it too much! I applied for fall and was waitlisted but offered acceptance for spring 2016 so I'll be in the same class as yall! I didn't find out I was waitlisted until almost 6 months after I submitted my application for fall! So have patience and just hope for the best! I'll be commuting from Houston, so as it gets closer to January if anyone that is accepted wants to carpool let me know! Because parking is expensive and scarce lol! From what I've seen and heard its around 5 people just from what my friend has seen on Facebook plus the person that was pulled from here, so it may be more.

I've been wondering the same thing! People keep getting pulled off but it is getting closer and closer to when classes are suppose to start! If you find out anything about that please post or let me know!

Based off of what's going on in their Facebook page, there have been two other people accepted recently, so I'm assuming they were pulled of the waitlist, and one of them said they were pulled off today!?

Ugh the closer it gets to August the more I see it's unlikely we'll get off of the waitlist!!! Well at least if not we'll all be in the same class together for spring! Hopefully we hear some good news in the next couple of weeks though!

Start now! It doesn't hurt to have the fingerprinting done or a head start on vaccines as your titers can come back non responsive or negative!

I was wondering if anyone has heard back yet for fall? Should we just assume we won't get in until spring? If that's the case how soon do yall think we will actually receive an acceptance for spring? ( this if for those that have been waitlisted with conditional acceptance for spring )
