  1. Thanks so much for the feedback everyone! I just started my job search yesterday. I'll let you know how it goes and what the market is like for me!
  2. Hey there, I'm Catherine. I'm an RN with a BSN. I am currently in the midst of a move to PA (would like to live near Hazelton) and I was wondering what the job market was like. I started my career in Denver, and it took me a horrifying 6 months to find a job. I took the first one I was offered, but it was not in acute care. I now have 1 year of experience in subacute rehab (although at least 1/3 of my patients belonged on a med surg floor) and I would like to get a job in medsurg in PA. Can anyone tell me what the market is like? Are they open to accepting people with my qualifications or are the hospitals ignoring you unless you have 1 year in acute care as they are in colorado? Any info would be helpful and much appreciated!
