  1. Yeah, that was the sense I was getting about IVC compression with sonography, but my eyes were a little opened when I read the last comment of the blog post above: ICU Physiology in 1000 Words: In Defense of the Central Venous Pressure - PulmCCM the commenter says that IVC compression is not much better than CVP?? that's not what the attendings in our unit do?
  2. Thanks, I thought it was a nice, quick description of the physiology of the CVP. I hope others find it useful too.
