3.7 3.9 teas- they took my first score 84 I am currently in the program. I can give you a lot of info if you're interested. I did hear admissions is a bit different. They are now taking the top 20% and making it a lottery. The top 20% of our class had pretty low gpas and teas so I wouldn't be worried. I believe 405 people applied for 40 spots this year. They took 20 off the wait list and we have already lost 12 and the first semester isn't over. If you want info pm me. Good luck

Yes! A lot of people went to the first one (after talking at the bls class) but I'm going to the one on tues. then everyone will be there aug 6!

I just got my acceptance for usf too!! I'm already committed to chabot though and I'm glad about that decision.

Hey it's for San Francisco. I applied there back in January so it's been a long wait. It sounds like the way they worded it I was on a wait list and a spot became available to start fall for the spring cohort. They are giving me a week to decide but I'm already committed somewhere Else. Good luck though. Apparently they have had a lot of applicants but I know they were encouraging people to go to the sac campus so that could be a positive thing for you.

That is awesome!!!! I heard that they went through a ton on the wait list last year so I bet you have a great chance. I didn't get in due to my chemistry was quarter units and they were saying I didn't have enough for it to fulfill the prereq. I totally understand the losing interest I did too

Yes and with the cost of the school you would think it would be so much better. Also their mission and what they stand on does not coincide with the way they treat people apparently in admissions. I got into chabot which I think honestly is a blessing in disguise. I had no idea it's an immediate BSN(why I didn't want to go to community college) and the cost is just 5-7k total so graduating without any loans will be amazing.

No nothing! I never received a rejection letter, a response to any of my emails, nothing. I'm kind of disappointed in them honestly. Luckily I got into another program but the stress and emphasis I put on this one to never even hear a thing really bothers me. I guess that's how it is though.

Wow that is awesome! That is a hard choice. In the end you'll end up with whatever is right! I'm surprised so many people declined. They said at orientation only 1 person did last year lol maybe that was a scare tactic because I already know 3! Plus now 2. I'll private message you my number and let me know what you end up doing. I'll see you at the cpr. I'm doing the later orientation because my son will be with his dad then.

That is so awesome!! Yes I feel the same way. I met so many great people but unfortunately none will be in this program with me. I too agree that it was a blessing not going to the private school because this way there's no debt. If you end up here let me know! I definitely could use support/study help. I also know someone who graduated from the program 2 years ago and she gave me a ton of advice just a little while ago. We will make it through and be great nurses no matter what!!!

Oh and no im not working. Do you work a lot? I think they just say to work part time because it can be a lot.

Thank you!!! We have a lot in common this is good. Haha I heard the same. I applied to private as well and honestly worst experience I have ever had. Literally no communication and I was never formally rejected for 2 semesters. They just didn't tell me anything about my status or were very vague. So frustrating considering it was 41k a year and a 3 year program. I'm happy this one worked out! I was worried too. I had a back up plan to just transfer to east bay and do the accelerated BSN after getting a BS. But that would cost me more money too so this is ideal!

That is awesome! I'm kind of older too. (Turning 26) I am also a single mom of an almost 4 year old but everyone is well prepared for me to start this!! I was shocked too because i looked back and saw the same thing! I didn't study the first time either but totally did well the second. I was so upset they took the first score. I'm glad you got in. Hopefully we will be in class together.

But I had a 3.9 and a 94 on my teas and didn't get into east bay or sf state

Since I had to submit my first score not best I got in with only a 79. Hopefully that gives you hope!!!!
