I actually got in this program back in 2016 and graduated December 2017! It’s a great program with a lot of supportive faculty!

Congrats! I did not get accepted for the third time so I am not wasting my time on WCU anymore. I am going to go the ADN route :) Good luck with that program!

@Macarro2 Have you heard anything yet? The anticipation is killing me!

I feel like the interview went great as well! I interviewed with 2 other people. I think Dr Sargsyan and Dr Knowlton were great! I think they have to have that kind of hard to read response with everyone, they are both very professional. I feel confident but I have no idea what the outcome will be! The other two candidates that I interviewed with were great as well. I think that every applicant is probably equally great. I think they have a hard time selecting? I'm just anxious and wish they would tell us already!

I'm interviewing on the 30th as well! I have 3.5 years in the medical field in a few different settings and patient populations. I also work for Mission at the moment as a Certified Medical Assistant! I am not an RN hence the fact that I am applying to their ABSN program.

That's pretty good! I only made an 81 on the TEAS but I'm hoping that it will help me! I am interviewing again this year so I've said my prayers! I can't remember the exact questions but they were definitely the behavioral/situational questions. So things like "Tell us about a time that you had to deal with a difficult pt/family and how did you handle it". They want to see you though processes, how you handle stress, and your coping skills. So thing of different situations you can use from your experiences :) When are you interviewing?

I have a BS in Recreational Therapy with an internship at Carolina's Rehab and Levines Children's hospital as well as a year and a half in the actual field as a manager of the nursing home in therapeutic recreation for a year and a half! What about your TEAS score? I didn't do so well

Hey! She has always been so nice to me!this is my second time applying I did not get in the first time but I did get an interview the first time! It's just such a competitive program. My GPA isn't great either at a 3.3 but I'm hoping that this time in an interview I can convey that I understand what a nurses job entails and that I can handle the extensive program! Good luck!
