  1. I have 5 yrs of Med surg/Tele and I'm ready to change specialty. I've thought about other adult specialties but NICU and L&D is sort of tucked away in my mind. I become nervous around kids and babies. It's hard to explain. It's an awkwardness I guess. I don't have kids of my own but would love to some day. For this reason I never given NICU or L&D much thought. I honestly don't remember hating it during my clinicals in school. Is the nervousness of babies something that goes away with experience, or is it better for someone that has an "omg I love babies" attitude?
  2. Fnp bsn-dnp. 5 yrs experience. 3.0 gpa. Online. No entry exams.
  3. Got the acceptance email DNP-FNP
  4. Anyone had to pay a fee to hold their spot at a diff university while waiting to hear from others? I had to pay by a deadline or they'd offer my spot to someone else. I just paid for my 2nd choice school. It's like I'm hoping I wasted money to get into my 1st choice/USA smh. I wish all schools sent out letters during the same time.
  5. Received my acceptance letter today. Waiting to hear from another school before making my decision. I'm in Louisiana.
  6. AA RN looking for first travel assignment in houston starting January '15 with medical Solutions. Specialty is Med-Surg. Anyone know of any potential housing that is used in the area. Also, i hear MD Anderson is pretty good, any others? Not looking for roommate but would be interested in meeting up with fellow travelers.
