  1. Yup guys! I really wonder what's been taking them for so long. Well, there are rumors, bittersweet is right. But I don't know. DDH is almost complete check its Facebook page...Equipments, beds, etc, it's already there. A few employees have been working there probably in preparation for the inspection. But I am 100% sure, it's not yet opened. I have a friend who's a hospital shareholder...
  2. Have you been called for the exam or interview?
  3. Hi guys! It's been a long time since I last followed this thread. I haven't had any news yet, even to other applicants who took the exam. Until now, I am still hoping for their sms. As of the moment, I am working as a company nurse. If anyone of you guys happen to have any news please update it here because just like anyone else who applied, I am rooting to be part of the pioneer batch. Thanks...
  4. Hi everyone! Have you got any news? It's almost a year in the making...I still have no idea when will DDHI be opened. I am planning to reapply one of these days by the way...
  5. Hey! Were you invited for the exam? When will be your schedule?
  6. Did you guys receive any updates? Still puzzled. I have tried many hospitals and DDHI is my last hope...
  7. @nighteyebug do you have any updates? When will be the hospital operational?
  8. Hey there! I took the exam last december 2014 yet until now I've got no news from them. I suppose they have not started yet the interview. But the hospital seems to be nearly operational so I keep on texting and calling them. According to them, they're still on the process of evaluating all the applicants. Don't loose hope guys!
  9. Hi there! First of all, where in the Philippines are you exactly located? If you are staying in Metro Manila, there are a lot of hospitals that offer training programs especially if you want to come back to the nursing field. If you only want to attend seminars, check the PNA, Philippine Heart Center's Critical Care Nurses' Association or ANSAP (if I'm not wrong) cause as far as I know, they're conducting seminars or trainings on a monthly basis. Hope this will help you! Happy Nurses' Week and I wish that you would be able to come back to the noblest profession ever!
  10. Hey! That's a good move! I've waited for so long and I am thinking of giving up already. How I wish that DDH and all the other hospitals would text or call me but to my dismay not even a single of them. My consolation are the text from call centers. I don't know what to do now. My heart says to work in a hospital but things are not going the way I wanted. Anyway jvtriumfante follow your heart. If that's what you feel is better then grab it! Ahhhhh come on DDH what's wrong?
  11. Nope bagitongnurse! Hehehehe. Come on stay positive! Remember jvtriumfante, bittersweet and I are still optimistic that diliman doctors hospital will call us! Hehehehehe. I have attempted many times to diverge into other fields but at the end of the day, I feel as if I did not accomplish anything. I felt like quitting. Anyway, if you think and feel that going abroad as a pharmacy tech will be you big break then go for it! Always pray bagitongnurse. But as for me, don't hurry things. I know it's easier said than done. I know how you feel because I have been rejected many times. I have no backer then so what. Remember if plan A did not work out then go for plan B, plan C and so on and so forth. I do not want to sound as if I am preaching you. I just want to enlighten you! :)
  12. Aspiring applicants not sponsors. That's what I mean.
  13. Got it bagitongnurse! Most probably the employer will grant them visas but not as nurses. They will work then as a private duty nurse since the saudi council does not regulate the practice of privatr duty nursing, it will be easy for the employers and the aspiring sponsors to obtain a visa. But it's too risky my colleague! Majority of Filipinos as private nurse suffer from maltreatment physically or in terms of salary. Other thing is that they will work in polyclinics. I know you have an idea what are they. Now, the fact that the saudi hospitals only recognize tertiary hospital experience for 2 years, how much more if you are planning on transferring to bigger hospitals from polyclinics. It woud be hard. Really, not unless you have a relative there who could help you. But as for me, go the right way. Just be patient. It may be not now. Remember that everything will fall into its rightful place and time. :)
  14. I am thinking that they will only give you a driver's visa, a laborer's visa or anything that does not require a licensure and primary source verification. Think about it bagitongnurse!
  15. Hi there bagitongnurse! You cannot be a pharmacy tech in Saudi since first and foremost you do not hold a BS Pharmacy Diploma. Before the saudi embassy will give you a working visa, they will ask you to present the college diploma, transcript, prc documents including license and certificate of employment duly authenticated by the department of foreign affairs. So there's no way for you to get a visa as a pharmacy tech. Piece of advise, don't be easily fooled by some agencies or be blinded by their offers. Some are too good to be true. The only way for you to work there, since you're a nurse is first, pass the nurse tech exam through prometric and second, work in a tertiary hospital with a minimum of 100 beds. Believe me dude.
