What are the odds of getting a job at a hospital as an RN in Oregon with 1+ year of acute care/ICU experience if I am living out of state? I completed my nursing degree (BSN) in Texas and was unable to find a job in any of the residencies/internships in Washington/Oregon and I can't help but feel being so far out of state held me back... I am wondering if it would be any different now that I am an experienced RN. Any opinions or advice? Should I move there prior to securing a job so that I have an Oregon address, or would that just be foolish? Thanks in advance.
