Sorry if this is redundant or anything, but does anyone have updated salaries for a new grad in MD? I'm also in AZ, looking at possibly moving to MD because the hubs is going to grad school online through Georgetown and wants to work on getting a job out there and go to school in person. I'm currently working as a new grad here in AZ getting a base pay of 27.24/hour and I'm hoping there is somewhere out there that's comparible, though I'm sure MD has a higher cost of living than AZ....

This is the exact same thought process I have been going through when considering my options for grad school in the future. I wish there was an option for all of the coursework that occurs in CRNA school but more of an FNP role. But not necessarily the ACNP role either. I just have no clue how to integrate everything I want to do and still feel like I'm not missing out on anything. Blah.

Ah. That would definitely be my situation too then if they wanted me. I graduate Aug 8th. Bummer!

I haven't heard anything but right now I'm kind of just assuming they aren't going to contact me lol. I'm out of state anyway so it would be a difficult process to apply for licensure in CA and from what it seems like, most people they were calling are from the area anyway.

Also, for those who are hearing, if you are hearing for October, are you all graduated already? I'm finishing up my final semester so I won't finish until August, but they said I would still be able to meet the requirements for applying, but I'm just curious if there is anyone out there in the same boat as I am. And - is everyone from CA who is hearing back? Anyone from out of state?

Congrats Is149477! That's exciting! I still haven't heard anything back, but I'm glad to hear others are hearing something.

Same here! I've heard UCD is a great system, though I personally have no experience with clinicals or anything there. I'd be coming from out of state (Arizona) if I did get anything. Are you from the area or did you have any clinicals there? Or do you know anything about what it's like working for UCD?

inzhodz, I wish I knew if they were calling for both, but I personally have no clue. I don't want to get my hopes up too much for this residency, but I wish they would call me haha. Which cohort are you hoping for?

Congratulations! Is your interview for the July start? And I'm guessing you did your preceptorship in the NICU since that seems to be what I've heard regarding how they place?

No call for me yet. I'm not sure I'll get a call anyway, but I figured it would be a little early to get calls. Though it sounds like they may be starting?

Hi all! I applied as well, but I can't remember if I was ever given the option for my unit preference, though if I did give a preference it would be somewhere within critical care. I haven't done my preceptorship yet, but they let me apply anyway saying if they were still interested in me then they would call me in June when I find out where I'll be (I graduate in August). Mine updated too! It made me feel so satisfied haha. Also I did receive my additional info today and got registered. Yay! BTW am I the only one who has noticed how expensive this thing will be??? It's craziness.
