  1. Hello everyone! I just took the Hesi entrance exam on Monday, 03/29 for the Fall 2016 start date. Hopefully I get in! Is anyone else applying for the Fall 2016 Nursing program? Also, does anyone know who to check for the average HESI score on the hesistudentaccess.elsevier.com website? I was reading this post ( https://allnurses.com/hesi-entrance-exam/bergen-community-college-956232.html ) and saw that you can find out the average with a 'cohort ID', but when I asked the Nursing Admissions lady today she had no clue what I was talking about. =/ I would love to know the average to gauge my chances of getting in. 2. Hello! I am currently a person with absolutely no college credits. I graduated from HS 7+ years ago and I want to get into the nursing field. I thought about going to a technical school like Eastwick or Lincoln Tech to get an LPN and start from there. Unfortunately those schools are much more expensive than I thought, and in NJ finding an LPN job will be near impossible. I would much rather go for my RN. However, I went to several seminars and am in distress. My preferred school is Bergen Community College. The price is right and it's close to home. Because I have no previous college credits, I want to enroll as a non-degree seeking student and take 2-3 courses that are prereqs for the RN program. Besides that, what else can I do to increase my chances of getting accepted? Another school I was looking at was Holy Name Hospital. But I saw their admission requirements included my HS transcripts.. The majority of my time in HS I was homeless and missed a lot of school. While I graduated and passed every class, my GPA is a sad 2.3 and I feel that would really hurt my chances. I apologize in advance for my ignorance, and any advise would be greatly appreciated.
