    I am on a first time assignment. I have never used a stipend before. I live >50 miles from my assignment. I want to know what is the limits for the stipend in North Carolina. Also in order to maintain your travel status how long can I work on one assignment and how long do I have to leave an area to maintain travel status? Thanks for your replies, JE
