When you said, "BUT you can retake the test." did that mean that all you had to do is request for a "RE-Examination" form. Or Did you have to go through the entire registering process again (Livescan etc) with your nursing schools Director of Nursing? My situation is: I graduated 2009 haven't been active since 2011, I tried calling to ask my questions but no one is answering it hangs up. Since I've been inactive for about 3-4 years now, do I have to go through the entire process of registering like im NEW at taking the nclex or can I just simply request for the re-examination form and pay the $150? I also already paid for the NCLEX registration of $200 and realize I still haven't gotten my ATT and then read this thread and saw that I went about it all wrong. BUT its ok cause it says "Your NCLEX examination registration will remain open for a 365-day time period during which a board of nursing may determine your eligibility." THANK YOU TO ANY HELP anyone could provide me, seeing that this thread is from 2012 and its now 2015
