  1. I'm fairly certain that we don't have to register for the orientation because it's mandatory. I tried to register through UCF, just to see, and it says there isn't one on that campus (SSC Altamonte). Also, I think I read on other posts that you don't have to register. You may want to email the advisor, just in case :)
  2. Woohoo! I got it all squared away! They had sent it to the wrong email address... no idea where the one they sent it to came from. Anyway, everything is good to go now! I looked for the Facebook page but I cannot find it
  3. Thanks for the info :) I really do appreciate it! I did go ahead and register for the bootcamps. I am going on Thursday 10/29, and then the 2 other ones are on the Fridays. I did get and turn in the MOA so at least the UCF side of things is going according to plan...lol. Now if I can just get SSC on the same page, I should be in business :)
  4. Thanks Adelacruz! I spoke with them yesterday and they are going to send it out again today. The person that sent them out on Friday was not in yesterday to send it out again yesterday. I didn't receive anything at all, I checked my phone, laptop, work computer...lol...nothing. Hopefully I will receive it this morning. Otherwise, I will be going right up there and have them send it while I am there! Does it tell you anything on how to register for the November 12th Orientation in that email? I was trying to register for it through UCF but it is not available that way. Thanks again! :)
  5. Thanks! I still haven't received anything from SSC at all. I think they may have put my e-mail address in wrong or something because I haven't received any emails at all...not an acceptance or declination email. I should have received something either way. I am going to assume (and hope) that I am in because I did get the acceptance email from UCF and I can't imagine that I would be accepted on that side without being accepted on the SSC as well. Who knows... Can you tell me if the SSC email also said that you had to RSVP by 10/16/15 in order to keep your seat? That is the part that I am most concerned about. I know the UCF one said that I had to respond by 10/16/15 in order not to forfeit my seat, and I did respond to their email right away, so now I am concerned about SSC giving my seat away.
  6. Still nothing on the SSC side....very weird. I guess I will have to call them on Monday.
  7. I still haven't gotten anything from Seminole State...just the UCF email still. Anyone else in the same boat?
  8. I got one from UCF!!! WOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
  9. From what I have read from prior admittances (I am an allnurses stalker...lol), a SSC email comes first and then a UCF email comes later. Also, the one from SSC says accepted to the generic program only. You have to get one from both schools to mean that you are accepted into the concurrent program. And then you have to accept your seat from both schools, so do not decline the one from SSC generic. Although, like I said, this info is just based on the posts I have read from prior groups so I could be wrong. :)
  10. I think the one that found out on a Thursday was during the Summer when the school is closed on Fridays. :)
  11. I now really do check my email like a crazy lady...lol. I am hoping Friday as well. It seems like it is always in the back of my mind even when I am busy with something else.
  12. I hope so too! I'm really hoping for next week or the week after. It seems like past groups have been finding out at the 5 week mark so I am really hoping for that! :)
  13. Today marks 3 weeks since the application window closed, guys! The time is going by pretty quickly for me, however the anticipation is still killing me...lol.
  14. I turned mine in at the Altamonte campus, but it was on the first day. I didn't notice what number I was but I was probably around 10 or so.
  15. Mine too! It's a step in the right direction! lol
