  3. I am a NICU Nurse in Israel and looking for some information about NICU nurses in the USA, preferably California. I know in the USA there are 5 stages of NICU nurses, can someone briefly explain what each of the five stages are? Additionally, I'm about to start a 2 year NICU/ICU specialty course here in Israel, through the ministry of health. It will be instructing and specialising me in everything for the NICU ICU. If I move to California, will I need to retake this course when I arrive? Will I need to retake an exam in the subject matter? Or will it be fully accepted? I know I will need to take the foreign nurse exam NLEX, but I'm specifically asking about this additional specialisation course.
  4. thank u :)
  5. I am looking to take a 9 month breast feeding course (400 clinical and 300 classroom hours) in Israel through the Ministry of Health, to learn to teach new mothers how breast feed their babies. Would such a certification be transferable to the state of California? If it is not, is it possible just to be retested instead of re-doing the entire course? In California, do hospitals do courses like this individually by hospital or through one (or more) regulating authorities?
