  1. Okay, I was just making sure. I didn't want to be in trouble for wearing jeans and tennis shoes lol. But I'm with you. I'm excited and super nervous at the same time. I keep going. Omg I haven't read everything yet! But I know I need to just relax.
  2. Just to make sure. We can wear our normal clothing tomorrow correct?
  3. Hey ladies. Yes the seminar was great. I thought she was hilarious and I think it helped ease alot of my worries about starting. Of course now that tomorrow is the big day I have even more lol. As far as the facebook group goes, I looked for it but I can't find it. I can't really remember what all the girl said either as to how to find it.
  4. I don't know. I am wondering the same thing. Kind of worried about that. I still need to get my books and uniforms. Everything else I got but now I'm worried about the classes too due to financial aid.
  5. Yep that's the one.... Btw did you ladies do your toxicology check already. I read you need to make an appt in the email to go see labcorp. Is that right or do we just walk in?
  6. It takes several weeks to come in so I should have it by then however she did say for those that don't have their card it's okay because they can see through the school you indeed passed and are registered so not to worry.
  7. Thanks! That's good because I was worried about how long it would take to order so glad they have them. It is getting close. Scary and exciting! I took my bls/CPR class with the college yesterday and if you haven't the lady that does it was super nice. I highly recommed them.
  8. Yeah would you mind sending me info on the book scholarship as well I have never heard of it.
  9. No blood work unless your provider wants it for the physical but doubtful. Just the immunizations or proof of titers.
  10. That's awesome and its also the stethoscope I have as well. But I will get on it those I.D. charms like you suggested for it. I also read that putting one of those pet name tags on it isn't a bad idea. I'm sure I'm mountains out of mole hills haha.
  11. Good idea! Thanks. I think I will try to get my bell engraved too. I'm just worried someone will try to steal it with all the horror stories I've heard and read and I paid a good penny for it... My husband is air force and my dad was too so I tried to see what the Air force had and all my files were gone from when my dad was in. I got titers so everything is ok now but it was frustrating at the time.
  12. Wow I need to check this site more because I'm obviously not getting the email alerts on time. Anyway, no I had to go to my doc and get reshots and/or titers on everything since the military kindly misplaced my stuff from my husband's last base. I got one more PPD test then done. Still got to do toxicology/background amongst still buying some stuff. As for blood pressure and stethoscope. I bought a really nice littmann but it's black so I'm going to put fabric tape on it to help identify it since I keep reading people like to steal them.
  13. Do you ladies know if we can have any style of adult BP cuff or does it have to be certain colour? I dont see where it says anything about the looks of it.
  14. Havent ordered uniforms yet but I will next month. Waiting until then to do the uniforms.
  15. I think I'm going to contact someone in our depart to make sure....as for the stethoscope. I read over all the paperwork and I dont see anywhere where it has to be a certain colour. I cant see why that would matter.
