Hi, my family and I just moved to Georgia and I am looking to attend an ASN program. I was thinking about GPC but have read some not so good things about it on past threads. Since you are a current student I was hoping you could give tell me what you think about the school and your experience so far. Are the teachers as bad as they say? Has their grad rate and NCLEX pass rate improved?

Thanks again runsalot. Do you know which campus is the best and which is the worst. I am closest to the Decatur campus.

Thanks for the reply...the comments that I did read about GPC were from '07 lol, so maybe they have improved since then. I read that the teachers weren't really nice and made it harder for students to pass. I hope you don't mind me asking but did you pass the NCLEX the first time? And have you found a job? I also read that hospitals would rather hire someone with a BSN rather than ASN, how true is that? Sorry for all the questions, its just that I have no one else to ask.

Hi everyone, My family and I just recently moved to Georgia from Louisiana and I am unfamiliar with the area. I am looking to attend a community college to obtain an Associate's in Nursing and want to know what college would be the best to attend. I filled out an app for Georgia Perimeter College but read all kinds of horror stories about their program. I want to attend a school that has a good grad rate, NCLEX pass rate, and professors who actually want to see you succeed. Does anyone have any good recommendations of any good ASN programs around the Atlanta area? I live in Lithonia but don't mind a little commute. Thanks!
