  1. Thank you for your encouraging words! It is nice to finally receive some feedback about the program, and the professors.
  2. Thank you for your response, I begin classes this January. All of my classes will be online, and I will be taking one class at a time. Do you think it will be manageable working part-time with a family? I chose OKWU over Capella, because I would be focusing on one class at a time and graduate in June of 2016. According to the reply from a student attending Capella's RN-BSN program it was heavy paper writing, reading and discussion boards. The big difference between the two programs, is that in order to graduate in the same amount of time as OKWU, I would have to take two classes each quarter. I was concerned that it would be even more labor intensive, and difficult with juggling a family and working part-time. I know with any online program the majority of the classes will be paper writing...... Good luck in all of your future endeavors!
  3. Are two classes doable for someone who works and has a family? I had read a review of someone who completed the first class in the program, and she had 3 research papers, discussion board posts along with reading. I can't imagine taking two classes and having to complete 6 papers in 10weeks on top of the other assignments. I know that every professor is different, and so each of the classes may not have the same requirements. My goal is to complete the program in no more than 18mos. Thanks for the information.
  4. I am a practicing PICURN with a family. I am trying to decide between these two programs. The only reviews, I have been able to find are mostly negative. I would love to hear from any students attending these programs to find out how labor intensive they are, How accessible the Instructors are, and the quality of the program. PLEASE HELP! Capella vs Oklahoma Wesleyan University....
  5. Hello, I am looking into Capella's RN-BSN program. My start date would be January 2015. I would like to know how labor intensive the program is, and the accessibility of instructors. The only reviews, I have read are negative. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am also considering Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
  6. Hi, I am looking into Capella's RN-BSN program. My start date would be January 2015. I would really like to find more out about the program. I work and have a family, and it is impossible to find reviews from students. I am also considering Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
  7. Hello All, I am a practicing RN who graduated in 1997 with her ADN. I am looking into these two programs, and I would love to hear from prospective, current, and graduate students to share any information you about these two programs. I am interested in the quality, length, and accessibility of Instructors. I would also like to know if these programs are truly meant for working individuals who may or may not have a family.
  8. I am interested in hearing feedback about Capella University's RN-BSN online program. I graduated with my ADN in 1997, and I would like to get my BSN. I would love to know the difficulty of the courses, and the amount of time you spend on completing the assignments. As well as the quality of the program, and the availability of the instructors? Has anyone taken three courses in a quarter, and was it manageable with a full life? Thanks!
  9. Hello, I am a practicing Picu rn, who graduated with her ADN in 1997. I am in the process of applying to a few RN-BSN online programs. After researching several programs, Capella University is the program that I am leaning towards. According to my unofficial evaluation, I will only need to take the required nursing courses. I am interested in what the program is like, and I am interested in finding out if three courses are doable with a full schedule at home?
